In March of ’87, Berry Scott had Mae Brussell, political researcher, radio commentator and John Judge, assassinations researcher, speaker, on her program; live from KPFA, Berkeley for three hours. They discussed the JFK, RFK, Malcolm X and Martin L. King assassinations, Nazis in the Reagan / Bush White House, AIDS / Bio Warfare and the rise of the Fourth Reich in America.  This was truly a historic broadcast; two of America’s great researchers and speakers giving earthshaking revelations on what is really happening to our beautiful Country and our world and how it affects our lives.

A big pre-broadcast dinner was held in Mae Brussell's honor at a restaurant across the street with Mae, John Judge, Pat Carey and eight other supporters.  Mae was seated at the head of the long, reserved banquet table. Midway through the two-hour dinner and discussion, Josh Greenland and Mae Brussell proposed a toast and all raised and joined their wine glasses together  “for more research and broadcasts like today's and to the final downfall of the Fourth Reich in America.”   The task continues.

Two months latter, Josh Greenland and Network Against War and Fascism compiled, edited and published the Anthology On AIDS-Biological Warfare, which included excerpts from Mae Brussels’s (1984) and Dr.Wilbur Jordan’s (1987) broadcasts and interviews. It also included (1985-’86) interviews with various AIDS rights activists and people with AIDS; some within weeks of their own untimely death. State sponsored / CBW AIDS deaths were all over the Gay men’s community in San Francisco during those years. It was and still is horrifying.  AIDS is comparable to the state sponsored deadly Tuskeegee experiments in the Deep South.

Mae Brussell did more radio broadcasts (beginning in 1984) on AIDS; usually on its genetically engineered, man made origin than any other broadcaster on any aspect of AIDS, in the U.S. at that time. Dr. Robert Strecker, author, AIDS Bio Attack Alert, 1985 and Dr. Allan Cantwell, author, AIDS & The Doctors of Death, 1986 and Dr. Leonard Horowits, author, Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola-Nature, Accident or Intentional? Tetrahedron Press, 1998  originofaids.com  and Dr. Wilbur Jordan were some of the other pioneer researchers into the origin of AIDS.

Mae Brussell did more broadcasts and early research into homophobe Dan White, member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and White’s execution style murder of Gay Liberation / civil rights leader, fellow Supervisor, Harvey Milk and George Moscone, Mayor of San Francisco, than any other broadcaster then, (1978) or since. The Gay & Lesbian and AIDS Communities can learn a great deal from Mae Brussell’s research and the other above researchers for their great and dedicated, pioneering work on AIDS. They likewise fostered understanding and full civil and human rights and freedom for people with AIDS and all Lesbian, Gay, Bi. and transgender people, including the Black and Latino Community as well.

In 1988, Mae Brussell, a Jewish mother of three young daughters of Carmel, California, renowned political researcher and weekly radio commentator on world events, with the help of 10 other dedicated researchers and activists organized The Conference Against The Fourth Reich In America and the Politics of Repression in the Warfare State. This important 10-hour conference took place in July of 1988 in San Francisco, Ca.

Mae had already been very busy doing weekly broadcasts on KAZU, KLRB, KKUP since 1977 and occasionally on KPFA and KGO radio. Her broadcasts were also aired on KPFK, Pacifica Network in L. A. She continued broadcasting till just before she died in October of 1988.

The press release was written, printed and distributed for the Conference by Lori Bradford, author, researcher into psychiatric abuse and mind control and Susan Winthrop, of Bound Together Books Collective. They were among the organizers. They are still very dedicated researchers and peace activists.

Just before the big event, Brett McCabe, the host of the twice monthly Viacom TV program in San Francisco, Network Against War & Fascism (1989-1992) was in a one hour plug for the Conference on KPFA radio on Berry Scott’s program, The Secrets Out, live from Berkeley. Berry, a young Black woman with a husband and two daughters, was so supportive of all of Mae’s research and broadcasts over the years.

The Conference turned out to be the biggest anti-fascist, political conference since WW II. Mae and John Judge were central in helping us plan and organize it. She thought of the title for this groundbreaking event. The Peace movement can now learn a lot from that Conference and how it was democratically organized by and for the people.

David Sapensly, a young Jewish student of film studies at San Francisco City College, laboriously video filmed the entire 12- hour event.

David Sapensly’s film of the Conference got rave reviews with a tribute to Mae Brussell in the S. F. Weekly, March 22, 1989 and TV Host Monthly, April 1989.  It was also cablecast on Viacom's channel 25 in San Francisco.

But the Fourth Reich has kept marching, plundering and thundering ominously on, gaining momentum just as we warned people since then, that it would.

Then 9/11 and the Pentagon / Bush regime’s “Endless Wars” exploded onto the already war-weary world. The toiling masses-those of us who want Peace, can still stop their militaristic violence, murderous crimes against humanity, insanity, greed and materialist plunder- it not too late. We can do it, all united together and for a whole new, just, prosperous and Peaceful world, a world without jingoistic nationalism, racism, sexism, militarism, political or religious authoritarianism, anti-Semitism, homophobia:  a world of Global cooperation not materialistic competition - a world without borders; a world where all social, ethnic, political and religious groups are democratically equal; like Martin Luther King, Coretta Scott King and Cesar Chavez, We have a dream.

A History Of US Secret Human Experimentation

In Mae Brussell’s political science method and, deeply probing, intellectual tradition, that memorable Conference in 1988 was dedicated. She was one of the great women of our time. It is now our time, post 9/11.

Human history and civilization has no other choice, other than a complete regime / systems change in the U.S. Either constitutional democracy, freedom, equality and World Peace with a regime / systems change in America or their total militaristic tyranny and violent, global catastrophe and annihilation, unseen since the dawn of "man" and the “State”.
